Hi beauties! We are back on this wonderful Tuesday with a review on the Evian Mineral Water Spray!
I am a huge fan of facial mist sprays! They are a multi-use product that has many benefits. It can be used as: a makeup setting spray, color reviver, hydration, cooling, calming, add a dewy finish, or to help with skin irritation.
Evian water starts in the French Alps, taking about fifteen years to filter through the mountain, where it gains its beneficial minerals. Evian is suited for all skins types, especially sensitive–I can vouch for this!
Evian Spray is also environmentally and consumer friendly. The canister is leak-proof, making it great for travel.
Evian® Facial Spray is available in 3-4 sizes depending on the retailer. The 1.7 oz. (50ml) travel-size has a suggested retail of $7.00 and is perfect for the purse or small bag. Most stores do not carry this individual size preferring instead to carry a three-pack (Trio) of travel-sizes that typically retails for $19.50. Then there is the 5 oz. (150ml) size, great for gym bag or tote, that has a suggested retail of $12.00 and finally, there is the economy/professional 10 oz. (300ml) size for the home that retails for $17.50. All of these prices will be slightly raised on February 1, 2015.
As I stated above, I feel this product is great for sensitive skin! I am prone to really bad allergic reactions. My reactions in the past have landed me in the hospital for short periods of time. My most recent episode happened a little over a month ago. I decided to be more proactive with the situation. I started to take my antibiotic at onset, changed out anything that could have caused the reaction, used a sensitive moisturizer, and the Evian facial spray.
As you can see from the picture, my face swelled, redness, and dryness. Usually, episodes like this one, last 2-3 weeks. This episode took one week to heal, with improvement showing daily! I do believe a huge part of that was due to the use of the Evian facial spray helping with the hydration.
I also love using the Evian facial spray as a setting spray! It provided a nice dewy look through out the day without having an oily look to the finish. It also did a great job of helping my makeup stay in place with little touch up.
-If you are able to find a travel one, I would suggest keeping it in your purse for a mid-day boost. This will help keep your face hydrated and keep your makeup looking fresh. You can find the travel size here.
-Another tip I would suggest using is to make your shadow more pigmented: spray the ends of your eyeshadow brush before dipping it into the shadow to pick up product.
Well, I hope you enjoyed my review on the Evian Facial Spray! It is a must have beauty product that I will continue to keep in my beauty collection. If you have tried other facial sprays, I would love to hear your favorite!
