Hi loves! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I know Christmas is over, but this post will help with any gift giving situation you may come across. These are product suggestions that were a huge hit with the teens in my family, especially my 13 year old daughter.
Red Carpet Manicure: My daughters love to do their nails, whether it be in the nail salon or on their own. More often then not they opt for doing it themselves. My kids love to be creative, so I will do whatever I need to empower them in that outlet. My oldest daughter is now at that age where she wants what is in style. She is starting to see everyone with gel or shellac nails. This kit is perfect to accomplish those very looks. I also love that the looks can be accomplished in the comfort of our own home.

They also have numerous nail colors here. Perfect gift for a mani/pedi date with my littles or sleepovers my daughter will have with her friends!
Pur Minerals now known as Pur Cosmetics. Pur is brand that has amazing makeup, but doesn’t get talked about a whole lot. I first discovered this brand through Ipsy, and have been in love ever since. It is a brand that I know and love- Pur has some of favorite products from their mascara, blushes, and glosses. Definitely, a must try! My daughter is just now getting into makeup, with that, I wanted her to start off with a brand that I know is great, but also beneficial to her skin. Pur came out with some amazing holiday sets this year. I gave her the Glitz & Glam Eyes Palette. You are getting two eyeshadow palettes for the price of one. One to create daytime looks and one to transition into night time.
Day Dream Eye Shadow Palette:Allure, Hope, Whisper, Charm, Desire, Wonder, Reflection, Reverie
Night Fantasy Eye Shadow Palette: Entice, Paradise, Passion, Treasure, Breathless, Crave, Addiction, Obsession
The daytime palette is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for my daughter’s everyday look. The night time palette has some great neutral colors with the perfect amount of color. I have never been able to pull off blue, but she is a lot more comfortable with color then I am. Got two teen girls who love makeup? No problem, you can break the palettes up to make two different gifts. If you’re looking for a little more variety, I would suggest looking at the the Glitz & Glam Set 2 – Eye & Cheek Palettes; you get the neutral eyeshadow palette and a cheek palette.
It is never too early to start taking care of your skin. A matter of fact, my 8 year old absolutely loves it. I actually wish I was more like her when I was younger. I own a Clarisonic and Foreo Luna. My kids see me using these items all the time. My teen asked for a Clarisonic of her own. I wanted to see if there was a cheaper alternative for her. This is what I ended up getting her: Toilet Tree Facial Brush Cleansing System. This set includes:
- 2 face exfoliaters (1 soft face brush & 1 medium face brush)
- 1 body exfoliator
- 1 pumice sphere
- 6 colors to choose from
Helps with the following:
- Stimulates skin renewal.
- Improves overall skin clarity and appearance.
- Removes dead skin cells to expose healthier-looking skin.
- Energizes skin and leaves it sooth, soft and radiant.
- Cleans deep to help remove stubborn makeup.
- Enhances absorption of moisturizers.
All reviews on this facial cleansing system have been positive. It is very affordable at $34.95. That is almost the price of a Clarisonic brush head, so a huge positive in my book. If you purchased all new replacement heads for this system, it would cost you $21 for all four-how crazy is that?
I would suggest getting the travel case here. You get the travel case and 4 replacement brush heads for $17.95. Crazy amazing deal. Toilet Tree has a lot of amazing products from skincare to bathroom organization.
I know not all girls this age are allowed to wear makeup or even like it. Don’t worry! I have some great non-beauty ideas.
I came across a website called Hammacher Schlemmer. If you’re looking for gift ideas, this site is by far one of the best that I have found. Their slogan says it all,” The best, the Only, and the Unexpected for 167 years.” If that doesn’t catch your eye, nothing will. I came across so many awesome gift ideas, even items I wanted for myself, but that will have to wait until after the holidays. If you would like to check out Hammacher Schlemmer you can order their catalog here. After combing through the site, I came across Fuji Film Instax Cameras. These are all the rage right now with everyone! My 8 year old even had this on her list, but I didn’t feel she was ready for a camera yet. Hammacher had everything you would need to create an amazing gift set for this camera. You can grab the carrying case and extra film. Batteries not included? Don’t worry Hammacher Schlemmer will include them for a small fee. This site definitely made gift buying very easy.
My daughter and nieces are somewhat of hoarders with the items they like to carry around. I don’t know why they feel the need to carry their entire bedroom with them everywhere they go. I figured the Polaroid Zip Printer was an amazing gift to give, because they would not have to carry around a camera around. Let’s be real, it isn’t always convenient! But…they do always have their phone with them. The Polaroid printer is small enough to carry in a purse or even pocket. It is very user friendly and compatible with any smartphone or tablet using bluetooth or via the android app.
- Print in less than 60 seconds.
- Compatible with ZINK Zero Ink Paper 2″x3″
- Smudge-proof photos with a sticky back for extra fun.
- Compact 2.91″ x 4.72″ size.
- Weighs only .41 lbs.
- FREE download of the Polaroid ZIP app for iOS & Android.
- Available in four colors

To be honest, I almost didn’t gift this item, because I wanted it for myself, lol! The great thing about it is it’s very affordable. Grab one here.
Emoji Pillows!! What teen does not use emoji’s on a daily basis? This item totally made sense to me. I across a kiosk in my local mall that had these available in all different sizes. You can even grab one as a keychain.
FYI! After purchasing these at the mall, I located them at Walgreens for $9.99. I am sure you can even find some cheaper versions on Ebay. These were a huge hit with my kids! My little one specifically asked for the poop emoji, lol. The poop emoji also happens to be the most popular out of the emoji pillows. If you see one, grab it!
I hope this guide helps with future teen gift giving-at least for the next few months. Let’s be honest, trends change!
